Editorial Guidelines

What we stand for
roo2ya is an independent crypto publication built on a simple promise: read every story at two focal lengths, and never blur the line between what is verified and what is interpretation. Our name comes from the Arabic word for vision, and our job is to bring the market into focus without hype and without doom. These guidelines describe how we work and what you can hold us to. They sit alongside our methodology and our public corrections log.
Source every claim
If we state something as fact, it is because we can point to where it comes from. We prefer primary sources: protocol documentation, official project materials, on-chain records, and filings. When a claim cannot be traced to a reliable source, we either attribute the uncertainty plainly or we leave it out.
- We do not present rumor, speculation, or a single unverified post as established fact.
- We distinguish clearly between what a project claims about itself and what has been independently confirmed.
- We describe how an asset works, what it is for, and the design of its consensus or mechanism, drawing only on well-established, timeless information.
Real authors, real accountability
A named human is accountable for what publishes under their byline. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their reporting and for the sources behind it. Where a piece is produced by the newsroom collectively rather than by a single writer, it is bylined roo2ya Staff — and an editor is still accountable for every claim it contains. You can reach the people behind a story through our contact page.
The Aperture stays balanced
Every roo2ya story is read through The Aperture — a close-up that captures the verifiable detail, and a wide shot that explains the meaning and context. The two lenses serve different purposes, and we never let one impersonate the other.
- The wide shot offers perspective and interpretation. It is clearly framed as analysis, never disguised as settled fact.
- We do not publish price predictions, and we do not dress a forecast up as a data point.
- Nothing on roo2ya is buy or sell advice. Our coverage of individual coins and the wider markets is informational only.
No fabricated data
We do not invent numbers. We do not manufacture prices, percentage moves, market caps, rankings, adoption statistics, or analyst ratings, and we do not attach false dates to events. Our copy is written to stay accurate over time rather than to read as a snapshot of a single moment. If we are not confident a figure is correct, it does not appear.
Our AI policy
We are honest about how our work is made. roo2ya uses AI assistance to help draft and research some material. That assistance always operates under human editorial oversight, and a human editor is accountable for every published claim — AI is a tool in the process, not the author of record.
- We disclose that we use AI assistance. We do not claim our work is “100% human,” because that would not be true.
- AI output is treated as a starting point to be checked, sourced, and edited by a person — never published unreviewed.
- The same integrity rules apply to AI-assisted drafts: no fabricated figures, no predictions presented as fact, no unsourced claims.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we fix them in the open. Corrections and significant updates are recorded in our public corrections log so the record is transparent. If you spot an error, tell us through our contact page and we will review it promptly.
