How staking rewards are estimated
Proof-of-stake networks reward participants who help secure the chain by staking their coins. Enter how many coins you plan to stake and the annual yield (APR) you expect — you set this figure yourself, because real rates move with each network and validator. Choose simple interest for a flat estimate, or daily/monthly compounding if rewards are restaked. The calculator then shows expected rewards per year, month and day, and — if you enter a price — their approximate dollar value.
Treat every figure as an estimate. Actual rewards depend on network conditions, validator performance and fees, and staked funds may be locked or subject to penalties.
