How roo2ya works
roo2ya is a crypto publication built on one simple idea: a story is clearer when you read it at more than one distance. Below is exactly how we frame our coverage, where our numbers come from, and the lines we will not cross. It applies to everything on the site — from single-asset pages in Coins to the broader picture in Markets.
The Aperture
Every story is read at two focal lengths. We call this The Aperture, after the name of the publication itself — ru’ya, vision. It is a framing tool for clarity. It is not a recommendation, a forecast, or a signal to act.
The near lens — the close-up
The near lens holds the verifiable detail: what an asset is, what actually happened, how a mechanism works. This is the plainly checkable layer — the part a reader could confirm independently. We keep it specific and we keep it honest.
The far lens — the wide shot
The far lens pulls back to sourced context: what the detail means, how it fits into how a network or market is designed to function, and why it might matter. This layer is interpretation, and we label it as such. It is never a prediction and never advice.
Reading at both lengths is how we refuse both hype and doom. There is no “to the moon” here, and no “it’s over” — only the detail and the context, kept apart so you can see each one clearly.
Our data sources, stated plainly
We would rather tell you exactly where a number comes from than dress it up. Here is the honest inventory of what powers the figures on our pages:
- Live prices, 24-hour change, 7-day change, and volume come from Binance market data.
- Market capitalization is calculated by us — live price multiplied by each asset’s publicly known circulating supply. It is a computed figure, not a fetched one.
- The Fear & Greed reading comes from Alternative.me.
- DeFi total-value-locked figures come from DefiLlama.
Data is cached and refreshed through the day rather than pulled on every view. Where it matters, we label how fresh a figure is so you are never guessing. We do not display fabricated numbers, filler estimates, or placeholders dressed up as data. If we cannot source a figure honestly, we leave it out.
Our honesty statement
roo2ya is a zero-fabrication publication. That means:
- No invented data. We do not make up prices, percentages, dates, rankings, or statistics. If a fact is not established and verifiable, it does not appear.
- No paid positive coverage. No one buys a favorable story, a placement, or a softened tone. Our framing is not for sale.
- No advice. Everything here is informational. We do not tell you what to buy, sell, or hold.
When we get something wrong, we fix it in the open — see our Corrections policy. The standards behind our writing live in our Editorial Guidelines, and if something here looks off, please tell us. Crypto, in focus — read at two focal lengths, and nothing more.
